An award-winning amateur photographer shows why yorkshire is god’s own county with these inspirational images.
David Zdanowicz, 31, recently won BBC Countryfile’s Winter Landscape Readers’ Award from a pool of around 500 entries.
His pictures have also appeared in The Dalesman, on ITV and BBC weather programmes, and on Sky News.
David, of Low Moor, bought his camera from his friend, a photographer, and started going out with his dad – another keen snapper – to develop his skills.
He said he enjoyed taking shots around Huddersfield because of its natural beauty.
“I just think it’s really picturesque,” he said. “The reservoirs are great and there are nice lakes around the area.”
