A photographer has captured the British landscape in a selection of stunning images.
David Zdanowicz, 32, is from Bradford and has only been taking photographs for two years. He says he loves photography and is inspired by his surroundings to take photographs and share them with people.
Despite being relatively new to photography, David has already won a BBC Countryfile award and his pictures have been published internationally by newspapers and magazines. He has also provided images to broadcast corporations including Sky for use in weather presentations.
David said: “As a Yorkshire Man I am fortunate enough to be around some of the greatest landscapes in the UK. Most of my photography is set in and around Yorkshire. I have occasionally branched out to Derbyshire and London to test my skills in new surroundings. I do most of my photography around sunrise and sunset to get the dramatic colours in the sky.”
He added: “I have been fortunate to achieve a lot of great things so far in my photography career. 2015 has been a great year. I go out photographing with my Dad Paul who also shares the love for the art form. It’s a great way to see the amazing places we are surrounding by. In the first 2 years of doing photography I’ve taken nearly 20,000 photos!”
The Yorkshireman’s photography is becoming increasingly popular and he now has more than 70,000 followers across different social media networks. He explained that whilst he is happy to be successful, his only desire is to make people stop and think about the scenery he photographs:
“I am mainly inspired by my desire to keep improving and to capture those special landscapes that make people think wow.”
